CNY parade
Fairhope has a Chinese New Year parade. So we took the kids down to see it and they came away from it with a bag full of goodies: beads, candy, moon pies, red envelopes with coins, and some cool paper dragons on strings.
Happy 3rd Birthday!
Aidyn loves to read. Her current favorites are "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?" and "Green Eggs and Ham"; she can "read" them to you. She is a good helper around the house and she enjoys taking care of her "baby" brother. She still enjoys her thumb and her blanket any time she can get them. She likes to play pretend with her kitchen and with her vanity. Her favorite tv show is Imagination Movers. She likes to dance and tries to sing along. She is talking in sentences now. Aidyn likes preschool and church. She is interested in learning her letters and numbers but we are still working on colors and shapes. She has been riding a tricycle for several months but is too short for the bike, even the short bikes. She rides her scooter and pretends to be Marion from Indiana Jones. Aidyn constantly carries stuff with her. Any bag, bucket, purse, envelope, or container--she will fill it with little objects she takes from all over the house (toys, money, toiletries, any small item). The objects become her treasures, which drives her brothers crazy bc often the items are their toys. Aidyn is loving, funny, sweet, emotional, and adorable.

Yep, that is Aidyn standing up to open a present. isn't she tiny? at her 3 year checkup she weighed 23 lbs and was 34 inches tall. on the same day preston had his 18 month checkup and weighed 25 lbs and was 34 inches tall. But she is sure to point out to him that he is still a baby and she is a big girl.
